Individual Therapy
Individual therapy pairs you with one therapist for private, one on one sessions. At Bennett Recovery, it forms the backbone of your treatment plan. You work through what drives your substance use, set concrete goals, and adjust your approach as you go. The conversation stays focused on you.
How Individual Therapy Works in Treatment
Individual therapy is a one on one session between you and a licensed clinician. You meet in a private room, usually for about an hour, and you talk through what brought you to treatment. That can include cravings, triggers, past trauma, anxiety, depression, or the daily patterns that keep addiction going. Your clinician helps you build practical skills and understand what drives your behavior. These sessions connect to the rest of your treatment plan, and your clinician adjusts the focus as you make progress. What you work on early in recovery will not be what you work on later.
