Your first week at Bennett Recovery follows a set schedule. You wake up at a fixed time, eat meals with your group, attend therapy sessions, and have blocks for reflection and rest. The routine feels rigid at first. Most people settle into it within a few days.
Phone and visitor rules depend on which program you enter. Here is the general breakdown:
- Detox: phone access is limited while your body stabilizes, and visits usually wait until you move to the next level
- Residential: scheduled phone times and set visiting hours, with your care team's approval
- Outpatient: you keep your phone and live at home, so contact is on your terms
Your case manager is your main point of contact. They coordinate your treatment plan, handle paperwork, and answer the practical questions that come up. Ask them anything. That is the job.
Families are not left in the dark. With your written consent, staff can share updates, and many clients bring loved ones into family sessions once they are ready. Talk to your case manager about what involvement looks like for you.
